Here is an interesting article showing that, perhaps, liberal/collectivist emotion (feelings) based political positioning IS a mental disorder.
This Psychiatrist gives the imprimatur of some credibility to a theory we have long subscribed to.
Many people process their politics based on what makes them feel good about themselves or how they imagine things *ought to be* whether it is realistic or achievable or not.
Thinking people intrinsically KNOW that is crazy.
