Pretty Clear to us (Is historical fact "hate"?)

Excerpted from an excellent column by William J. Federer.

Jesus's teaching on how to treat enemies:

* Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, pray for them which despitefully use you (Matthew 5:44).
* Resist not evil (Matthew 5:39).
* If someone strikes you on one cheek, turn to them the other (Matthew 5:39).
* If someone takes your coat, give them your shirt (Matthew 5:40).
* If someone make you carry something one mile, carry it two (Matthew 5:41).
* Forgive and you shall be forgiven (Matthew 6:14).
* Judge not, that ye be not judged (Matthew 7:1).
* Blessed are the peacemakers (Matthew 5:9).
* Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy (Matthew 5:7).
* Ye have heard that it was said, Thou shalt not kill, but I say who ever is angry with his brother is in danger of the judgment (Matthew 5:21-22).
* Treat others the same way you want them to treat you (Luke 6:27-36).
* Feed the hungry, clothe the naked, visit the sick, whatever you do to the very least you have done unto me (Matthew 25:40).

Muhammad's teaching on how to treat enemies:

* Infidels are your sworn enemies (Sura 4:101).
* Be ruthless to the infidels (Sura 48:29).
* Make war on the infidels who dwell around you (Sura 9:123, 66:9).
* Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day (Sura 9:29).
* Strike off the heads of infidels in battle (Sura 47:4).
* If someone stops believing in Allah, kill him (al-Bukhari 9:84:57).
* Take neither the Jews nor the Christians for your friends (Sura 5:51, 60:13).
* Never be a helper to the disbelievers (Sura 28:86).
* Kill the disbelievers wherever we find them (Sura 2:191).
* No Muslim should be killed for killing an infidel (al-Bukhari 1:3:111).
* The only reward of those who make war upon Allah and His messenger will be that they will be killed or crucified, or have their hands and feet on alternate sides cut off, or will be expelled out of the land (Sura 5:33).

Read the whole article it is excellent. Then let us know what "hate" is.

Read about the Revolution of Today

The entrenched media, left and "new" assiduously work to marginalize, discredit and impugn Ron Paul. This means he won't win the Republicrat nomination or the Presidency. Don't let his vision and revolution die. Educate the sheople you know. Illustrate the threat. Give copies of "The Revolution" to everyone you know who basks in their prosperous ignorance. Take back America for Constitutional government.

For those thinking people

Consider these sage snippets

"Duty is not collective; it is personal." Calvin Coolidge

“The income tax created more criminals than any other single act of government." Barry Goldwater

"It is one thing to show a man that he is in an error, and another to put him in possession of the truth. " John Locke

"Without God, there could be no American form of government, nor an American way of life. Recognition of the Supreme Being is the first - the most basic - expression of Americanism" Gerald R. Ford

"Those who only 'believe' what they can see and touch fail to utilize their intellectual capacity to its fullest" Anon

"no greater thing could come to our land today than a revival of the spirit of religion - a revival that would sweep through the homes of the nation and stir the hearts of men and women of all faiths to a reassertion of their belief in God and their dedication to His will for themselves and for their world Franklin D. Roosevelt

"The same revolutionary beliefs for which our forbears fought are still at issue around the globe, the belief that the rights of man come not from the generosity of the state, but from the hand of God. John F. Kennedy

Beautiful Nothings

How many people vote based on well oiled presentation of pretty sayings? How is it that "notable quotes", which we also like to show from time to time can be accepted when they basically mean nothing? I guess it is the universal quest to feel good.

They can be uttered by people who have other quite substantive quotes. Here is an example. Civil rights icon, Dr. Martin Luther King said:

"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character."

This is a certain measure of acheivable social growth and change.

But he also said this:

"Along the way of life, someone must have sense enough, and morality enough, to cut off the chain of hate."

What exactly does that mean? Sounds good, I suppose. It seems to draw on an assumption, unquantified, that all or most peopel hate or have some chain of hate. Absolute sophistry is how I read it. How about you?

I suggest that people look at more than a feeling evoked before adopting a quote for their tagline.

Some Simple Questions for the Pied Piper

While everyone is awash in the euphoria of the Barack Obama Campaign can we ask some questions? While his history is easily accessible may we question his positions in reference to the hear and now?

We know you are "for hope", even calling yourself a "hopemonger". What "hope" are you "for"? What specifically does that "hope" entail?

We know you have assumed a mantle of "change". What specific changes to Federal policy are you advocating? Be detailed and specific please.

We recently heard you say the Federal government is "fiscally irresponsible" and also have advocated the U.S. spending over 850 billion dollars on "global poverty". What exactly is "fiscal responsibility to you?

You recently stated that "tax relief" should go to the "people who need it most". Wouldn't that be the people who pay taxes, pay the most taxes? If "middle class" and "poor" people don't pay tax or pay a very small percentage of the total taxes paid, how does giving them money or tax relief benefit the economy?

You have said that "everyone" has a "right to health care". Can something be a "right" that costs other people money or property?

These are just for starters. Hoping to hook an Obama fan here. Come on and answer us.

Wow the Libs ARE crazy!

Here is an interesting article showing that, perhaps, liberal/collectivist emotion (feelings) based political positioning IS a mental disorder.

This Psychiatrist gives the imprimatur of some credibility to a theory we have long subscribed to.

Many people process their politics based on what makes them feel good about themselves or how they imagine things *ought to be* whether it is realistic or achievable or not.

Thinking people intrinsically KNOW that is crazy.

Allah - Rick Mathes reprint

This reprint has not been substantiated by an third party and was received from a contributor.

4/2/2008 A Reader (see comment) notes this has been decided false by Snopes.com It has, although it is one of the most subjective refutations I've seen. You decide: http://snopes.com/politics/religion/allah.asp

Allah or The Lord Jesus Christ? By Rick Mathes

This is very interesting and just a bit scary ... but is it scary enough to generate something besides talk? I'm afraid far too many Catholics, Protestants, and Jews will wait until it hits them
upside the head on a very personal level before they will do something besides talk about it. But by then it will be too late.

The Muslim religion is the fastest growing religion per capita in the United States, especially in the minority races!!!

Last month I attended my annual training session that's required for maintaining my state prison security clearance. During the training session there was a presentation by three speakers representing the Roman Catholic, Protestant and Muslim faiths, who explained each of their beliefs.

I was particularly interested in what the Islamic Imam had to say. The Imam gave a great presentation of the basics of Islam, complete with a video. After the presentations, time was provided for questions and answers.

When it was my turn, I directed my question to the Imam and asked:
'Please, correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand that most Imams and clerics of Islam have declared a holy jihad [Holy war] against the infidels of the world and, that by killing an infidel,
(which is a command to all Muslims) they are assured of a place in heaven. If that's the case, can you give me the definition of an infidel?'

There was no disagreement with my statements and, without hesitation, he replied, 'Non-believers!'

I responded, 'So, let me make sure I have this straight. All followers of Allah have been commanded to kill everyone who is not of your faith so they can have a place in heaven. Is that correct?'

The expression on his face changed from one of authority and command to that of 'a little boy who had just been caught with his hand in the cookie jar.'

He sheepishly replied, 'Yes.'

I then stated, 'Well sir, I have a real problem trying to imagine Pope Benedict commanding all Catholics to kill those of your faith or Dr. Charles Stanley ordering all Protestants to do the same
in order to guarantee them a place in heaven!'

The Imam was speechless!

I continued, 'I also have problem with being your 'friend' when you and your brother clerics are telling your followers to kill me! Let me ask you a question. Would you rather have your Allah, who tells you to kill me in order for you to go to heaven, or my Jesus who tells me to love you because I am going to heaven, and He wants you to be there with me?'

You could have heard a pin drop as the Imam hung his head in shame.

Needless to say, the organizers and/or promoters of the 'Diversification' training seminar were not happy with Rick's way of dealing with the Islamic Imam and exposing the truth about the
Muslims' beliefs.

In twenty years there will be enough Muslim voters in the U.S. to elect the President! I think everyone in the U.S. should be required to read this, but with our liberal justice system, liberal
media and the ACLU, there is no way this will be widely publicized. The most puzzling thing to me is... once Islam takes over, there will no longer be a liberal media or an ACLU, or a liberal justice system. So in effect, they are slitting their own throats by not publicizing
this.

Pass it on, then no one can say they were not warned in time.

This is a true story and the author, Rick Mathes, is a well-known leader in prison ministry.

Academic Freedom

Intellectual discipline and flexibility requires true intellectual diversity. Not the faux diversity trumpeted by the collectivist sheople herders of many (if not most) of our institutions of higher learning. Their definition of intellectual diversity is *agree with us* or you will be punished for your lack of *tolerance*. Real intellectual diversity is the key to actual academic freedom and the road to real expansion of the minds and thinking of our young (and not so young) people.
Liberal/Leftist "diversity" is a road to intellectual laziness. It is a knee jerk refusal to consider anything not in their approved bin of *diversity*. Real diversity requires legal and approved dissent. Indoctrination to *accepted* ideas isn't diversity and doesn't promote diversity.
Campus *diversity* as defined by the progressive donkey's and collectivist herders actually promotes rather than inhibits racism. It creates an evironment hostile to open minded exchanges. Examples of *intolerance* masquerading as "tolerance" abound.
Just a few examples of the Libercrat *tolerance* warriors actual intolerance.
If you deem homosexuality immoral (the behavior) you aren't tolerated on many (if not most) campuses. If you oppose redefining marriage to include homosexual couples you aren't tolerated on many (if not most) campuses. If you advocate discussing all theories of human origins aren't tolerated on many (if not most) campuses. If you see radical fascistic fundamentalist Islam as a threat to freedom aren't tolerated on many (if not most) campuses.
The Academic Bill of Rights in uniformly and universally adopted would allow for our students to focus on intellectual growth and development rather than fending off the social and political agendas of those employed to TEACH (rather than indoctrinate) them.

Ugly Choices - Where is the beautiful Swan?

John McCain, the "maverick"

Barack Obama, the oh so lovable marxist

Hillary Clinton, the Donkey Machine Stalinist

Most folks objections to John McCain is that he is "too liberal", he is "undependable" and that he is not "loyal". These objections are why many at the Amfree Network don't and haven't supported him.

We aren't "pragmatists" of the Hugh Hewitt stripe to whom government power trumps any concern of political and social principle. That's why many of us have supported Ron Paul and Duncan Hunter despite how our media culture makes such principle driven runs unlikely to succeed.

When confronted in the fall with a choice of McCain or one of the socialist/collectivist demoncrats the choices are clear to those who value liberty and prosperity.

John McCain has a high 80% lifetime rating from the American Conservative Union. He has been reliably and staunchly anti-abortion, he's a rock on national security. He is challenged on interpretation of the Constitution and justifies destroying life (embryonic stem cell) for "research". Yes, we could do A LOT BETTER. However, we could do MUCH MUCH WORSE.

Hillary and Barack propose, openly and proudly, collectivist redistributionist schemes such as universal health care and tax payer funding of individual's housing (mortgage) payments. They support artificially high wages mandated by government regardless of economic consequence. They support "environmental" policies that would wreak havoc on the U.S. and World economies. They are blatantly and proudly appeasing towards those who threaten us. They both value their collectivist ideals over traditional family and societal values.

If it comes down to it, staying home would be dangerous to your freedom and your country. McCain is no Reagan but he's certainly no worse than any compassionate shrub you can name.

Another stupid argument

The latest argument in the Elephant primary circus is the "a vote for Huckabee or Paul is a vote for McCain". First this implies a monolithic support that McCain hasn't demonstrated. Second, how could a populist, social conservative, economic liberal republicrat Hucklebee supporter vote for Military/Industrial statist McCain? How could a constitutional originalist republican libertarian vote for Big Government Unconstitutional legislator McCain. They wouldn't of course.

Similarly, no economic populist could vote for corporate neo-con Romney nor could a limited government federalist republican vote for Statist, pro-government mandates Romney.

That is why there ARE 4 candidates. My question is how any supposed "conservative" and particularly ANY *real* republican vote for ANY candidate but Paul. Conservative pundits and self-described conservative (used to be or still are statist liberal) candidates all fail to propose policies of smaller government, restraint of unconstitutional government activities at home and abroad.

All but Ron Paul

Comparing the Rons

While the punditry of the Republicrat party denigrates Ron Paul the Republicrat candidates scramble to dishonestly claim the Reagan mantle. Will the sheople buy it? Probably.

The fact is the closest candidate to Ronald Reagan's positions is Dr. No.

Listen for yourself.
