Talk a good game - Blah, blah, blah

Senator Jim Demint (R-SC) says all the right things. Why should we believe it, or him. He was part of the Republicrat MAJORITY, that increased Federal Spending and saw "earmarks" blow out like crazy. This is the problem with what is called "mainstream conservatism". It has no commitment, no follow through and no care for actual constitutional government.

Enviro-weenies and prosperity

Don't you think the Enviromental Collectivist weenies might just have a little too much time and money on their hands? First they are presenting panic for something that isn't even a problem. Here is a great example.

Perhaps someone should provide them with information on real problems that they (not the government of the U.S. or the World) can help with.

I think they just have too much money and leisure. Strange that they attack the very economic and political systems that allow them the cash and free time to obsess over imaginary problems

Racism is Racist

Those who wish to profit financially or politically (or both) from issues of race do more to perpetuate racism than anyone else.

One way is by the artificial insistence that one race is or can be *more* racist than another. This is applicable to ethnic or sex based bias also. Being "white" doesn't make one racist any more than being black or asian.

Racism is very simple in definition and concept. That doesn't stop the race profiteers and political collectivists from trying to obscure or redefine it.

Media and Sheople herders use racism to inflame and incite the ignorant. Since racists, by necessity, are themselves ignorant this creates a vicious cycle that servers to justify infringements on liberty. Under the guise of "equality" they form special interests seeking special rights, considerations and money based on nothing but supposed "race".

That certainly isn't what our form of government is designed to support. Liberty is a human right and the human is the only "race" that thinking people should consider.

Irony or Hypocrisy? Or both?

This little Drudge Nugget dumbfounded me for a moment. It exemplifies the term "shameless", or as my mother would have said, "unmitigated gall".

What shameless gall

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black! Sheesh!! These people WILL say ANYTHING. Do any of the sheople or their collectivists even care?

Despite my avid support of Dr. No for President, this neat little widget said my views are closest to the candidate John (Dr. Who?) Cox, Chicago business man. Click the pic and try it yourself.

Of Sheep and Men (who "matters"?)

The right media (or "alternative media" as they like to call themselves) have a credibility problem with thinking people. In their haste to decide "who matters" for we poor inept sheople they treat real choices, real alternatives with disdain. Where are the intellectually honest talking heads?

Men like Duncan Hunter and Ron Paul, real conservative and libertarian alternatives to our current statist nanny-government candidates pleasing to the lawyerly yappers on talk radio. While the old media shudders in paroxysms of joy over the substance free "charisma" of Obama, the "new" media march in lockstep supporting supposed "conservatives" who all have huge stains of unconstitutional government and statist/collectivist world views.

  • Mitt Romney - which multiple position flip do we believe
  • John McCain - His fondness for media liking him makes any "position" unbelievable
  • Fred Thompson - Conservatism of convenience and "right" version of the triangulator
  • Rudy Guiliani - At least he is upfront about being predominantly liberal and statist
  • Mike Huckabee - Who wishes to demonstrate his compassion and faith by use of Federal Government, raising taxes, freeing criminals and educating the children of criminal aliens

These are the "big five" according to the "alternative" media and their house organ, Fox News. Real proponents of significant, beneficial change that doesn't involve increasing government (as the Donkey "change agents" envision) are discounted. We are told "they don't matter" because "they are (insert epithet here)".

I'm not upset at anything but their arrogance. They ARE talking heads who get paid to bloviate their opinions. What astonishes me it how many, it SEEMS and APPEARS, bleat along passively in agreement. Almost reveling in their ignorance as to how their liberty is degraded on a daily, weekly, monthly and yearly basis by our imperial federal rulers. Lincoln would be astonished and he was the first real "statist" President.
